This past summer I tried one garden bed with Ewe and Me wool pellets incorporated into our own composted soil. To my delight, the addition of wool pellets provided larger/healthier plants/vegetables compared to my other beds. The wool pellets provided fertilizer and perfect moisture retention in the soil. Good for the soil, great for the environment. I highly recommend this innovative natural product.

I plant a lot of hanging baskets for my deck and last summer, I used the Woolly Belly pellets in all the baskets I planted. I ended up purchasing one more hanging basket from a retail store that didn't have the wool pellets in it and I was surprised when any time I would water the baskets, the commercially purchased one ALWAYS needed more water than the others. The plants wilted quickly and never seemed to hold the moisture like the baskets with the wool pellets. My "woolly" baskets also thrived overall more. Grow More Potatoes with Wool!
My husband and I bought some of your pellets at a vendor fair at the Chippewa Valley Museum this spring. When we planted our garden, we did an experiment, we marked several of the same varieties of plant and we planted some using just our straight compost mixture and some with compost and our precious pellets. Well, today we pulled one of our first experiments, two Yellow Fingerling Potatoes, one planted without pellets and one planted with. The plant that was planted with the pellets produced almost twice as many early potatoes!!! I am so excited and just wanted to let you know, I can’t wait to see how each crop did as we harvest throughout the summer.

Forest Street Community Gardens
Ewe and Me Wool Company has an educational garden in the Forest Street Community Gardens in downtown Eau Claire. You will be able to tell which one is ours with all of the wool! Every plant was planted with Woolly Belly Pellets and the garden is mulched with either Sheepy Shreds or fleeces. If you would like to talk with us about the garden, please contact us otherwise make sure to visit the community gardens next summer!

Spring Lambing
Both Jannell and Beth spring lamb. Jannell’s ewes are due early March through early April and Beth’s lamb from mid April to early May. We lamb at different times to ensure we can meet your needs for wool pellets and shredded wool. At this time, we do not offer tours for either the mill or lambing. Besides the insurance (yikes! ), we just aren’t set up for the public at our farms. We do post lots of pictures on our social media. Check out @prioryfarmscotswolds on Instagram or Facebook.
